Oppo is apparently working on resurrecting a very special range of cell phones. The special N series from the Chinese manufacturer was able to convince with innovations a few years ago – like a rotating camera.

Oppo: N-series phones could make a comeback

According to unconfirmed reports from the Chinese network Weibo, Oppo wants his special N series help make a comeback. However, this should not be an extremely cheap smartphone, because the successor is supposed to convince customers in the premium segment. The new Oppo N should not be particularly expensive either, because the cell phone could be offered in the home market for the equivalent of around 530 euros, they say.

A possible return of the N series is also interesting because the original smartphones from 2013 and 2014 attracted attention with some special features. The Oppo N1 offered one, among other things Support for CyanogenMod as an operating system alternative to classic Android.
