leak shows design and battery

The battery data and part of the design of the upcoming Nothing Ear Stick earbuds have surfaced. From this we can conclude that the design will not be as striking as we thought beforehand. What exactly do we see?

Nothing Ear Stick

Last Friday, Nothing shared images of a new pair of earbuds that the company is working on. In the message that Nothing posted on Twitter, we see, among other things, the charging case and the suspected name of the earbuds: the ‘Ear (stick)’. As you can see in the message, these Ear (stick) earbuds will get a charging case with a striking cylindrical design, you can read more about this in this article.

Due to the striking design of this case, the suspicions were that the earbuds themselves would also have a special design. However, new images shared by GSMarena show that this is not going to be the case. In these images we see earplugs with a design that seems to be based on the first and second generation of the Apple Airpods. It seems that the Ear (stick) earphones, just like the Airpods, do not become in-ear earplugs. They probably do not enter the entire ear canal and therefore do not close it completely. The first images of the ears can be seen below.

36 mAh battery up to five charges

According to a report, the Nothing Ear (stick) earbuds would also have a battery with a size of 36 mAh per ear. The charging case will have a battery with a size of 350 mAh, according to the same report. So you will be able to charge the earbuds about four or five times with this. For comparison: the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro have a battery of 61 mAh per ear, the charging case has a battery of 515 mAh.
