Keanu Reeves never played Cyberpunk, as the developers claimed, “Vortex.”
Actor Keanu Reeves said in an interview with The Verge that he did not play games and never played Cyberpunk 2077, in which he performs. He only saw some demonstration. There would certainly be nothing wrong with that. However, if the President of the CD Project Adam Kiciński had not stated in an interview with investors in November 2020 that Keanu Reeves played Cyberpunk 2077 and loves him. Kiciński just pointed out that he did not finish it. In fact, the actor obviously doesn’t play video games at all.

An omission? Innocent exaggeration? In light of the other inconveniences surrounding Cyberpunk, this is another annoying finding of the fans. It is certainly not the duty of the actor and the drummer to try video games, but you should not say otherwise. The problem is that if it was a mistake, the developers could easily have denied it before. In fact, they watched the grateful news spread on the Internet a year ago, and it clearly suited their marketing.
Of course, it’s still possible that Keanu Reeves doesn’t remember exactly. Or someone told Kiciński that he was playing it and meant seeing the demo. But this just didn’t work out.
