iVAC – Atlas VAC France
Developed by pilots for pilots, iVAC is an application that will allow you to quickly access the VAC FRANCE atlas of the SIA (Aeronautical Information Service). Whatever the network conditions, you will always have a more or less recent VAC card for all French aerodromes.
Features:
– Storage of maps on your device for consultation without an Internet connection.
– Display of land by name or ICAO code.
– Land search by name or ICAO code.
– Favorites tab grouping your favorite cards.
– Display of cards in portrait and landscape.
– Display of maps in full screen by simply tapping the screen.
– Printing and sharing maps.
If internet access is available, the app will automatically download the latest update of a VAC map and display it. Otherwise (at altitude for example), the application will automatically display the latest downloaded version of the map.
A monthly update is put online by the SIA and iVAC will inform you to offer you the complete download. The date of the next SIA update will be visible on the iVAC Info page.
