‘It will be gray, gray and water cold’
On Monday and Tuesday it occasionally rains a bit, but fortunately it will be dry afterwards. Temperatures will dip below average from Thursday. Normally it is about eight degrees at the beginning of December. This week it will be a maximum of about five degrees, so a bit colder. Temperatures in the double digits are going to disappear. Aarts: “That all has to do with a fairly powerful high-pressure area above Eastern Europe. We are getting an easterly wind, which will bring in colder air.”
It won’t be sunny, cold winter weather yet: “The skates can’t get out of the grease yet.” According to the meteorologist, it will be ‘really a gray matter’. That is because there is a lot of moisture in the atmosphere and the sun does not have enough power to burn away fog and mist.”
