Now Sony gives an insight into the number of subscribers and proves that the step was worth it, because a whopping 30 percent of PS Plus members are currently paying for one of the more expensive tiers.

New PlayStation Plus has established itself in community
After the new PS Plus offer initially caused some confusion for some gamers, it seems the community has now become friends with the three different tiers – and Sony can look forward to numerous more lucrative subscription memberships. However, the company doesn’t have to settle for that – as boss Jim Ryan recently announced, a price increase for PS Plus is by no means impossible. However, it is doubtful that this will also be well received by fans.
