iPhone 16 Pro Max: a first render reveals the 6.9-inch screen and dimensions
The iPhone 16s are already making waves, while Apple has yet to announce the iPhone 15s. We’ve already learned a few details, including that the Pro models are expected to have larger screens. Today, 9to5Mac gives a first preview with a rendering.
The rendering is based on a CAD file, which is generally used by prop designers to prepare the ground and future hulls. We therefore find a 6.9-inch screen for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, instead of 6.7 inches with the current generation. The name could also evolve and be iPhone 16 Ultra.
Another interesting element concerns the dimensions. Indeed, there is already a leak on the dimensions of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The phone is advertised to have a width of 77.2mm and a height of 165mm. By comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro will be 76.7mm wide and 159.8mm tall.
As said before, the Pro models will see their screens be bigger next year. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will therefore increase to 6.9 inches. As for the iPhone 16 Pro, it will be 6.3 inches instead of 6.1 inches currently. Non-Pro models will remain with existing sizes. This means that the iPhone 16 should be 6.1 inches and the iPhone 16 Plus should be 6.7 inches.
It is worth noting that we still have time before discovering the iPhone 16. It is therefore possible that several elements will evolve during development.
