A striking video has surfaced on the Chinese version of TikTok. This video shows a dummy model of the iPhone 15 Pro. The video doesn’t show any new changes that we didn’t already know about from previous rumors, but you can get a good idea of ​​the iPhone 15 Pro design with this dummy model. Watch the video below!

iPhone 15 Pro: much remains the same

At first glance, not much has changed with the iPhone 15 Pro. The design is very similar to that of the iPhone 14 Pro. However, some things are different. Most striking is the large volume knob that now consists of one whole.

Special action button

Above that you see that the ringer switch (also called mute switch) has turned into a button. With this switch you put the iPhone on silent. Where this was first a switch, this becomes a button with the iPhone 15 Pro. According to rumors, it will even be a kind of ‘action button’, to which you can hang various functions.

You can no longer press these buttons. They work a bit like the home button. They only respond to touch and give the feeling that you are pressing the button by means of a kind of vibration. If you’ve ever touched the home button on an iPhone SE 2022, you know roughly how that feels.

Now with USB-C

You can also see the connection for USB-C at the bottom of the iPhone. This port replaces the lightning connection that you see on current iPhones. This was also to be expected since the EU has decided that all new electronic devices must have a USB-C connection in 2024.

iPhone 15 models previously leaked

The dummy model of this iPhone 15 Pro is probably based on the CAD models that were leaked earlier. CAD models are files that contain the exact dimensions of an object. In the case of the iPhone, these are sent to the Chinese factories early on so that they can already work on covers.

When will the iPhone 15 (Pro) come?

The release date of the iPhone 15 (Pro) is most likely in September, the month in which Apple usually presents the new iPhones every year. The iPhone 15 will appear this year – just like the iPhone 14 – in four different models.

Three of them are similar to the iPhone 14, namely the ‘normal’ iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Plus and the iPhone 15 Pro. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is rumored to disappear and be replaced by the iPhone 15 Ultra.
