iPhone 14 (Pro) price shoots up
For years, Apple has stuck to iPhone prices. But with the iPhoneflagships from 2022 a price increase is looming. The price of the iPhone 14 (Pro) is going up, it is rumored.

iPhone 14 Pro price
The rumor comes from the Twitter channel LeaksApplePro. It’s not clear how they got the information, so the tweet should be taken with a pinch of salt. According to LeaksApplePro, Apple is considering the following iPhone 14 prices:
- Price iPhone 14: $799
- Price iPhone 14 Max: $899
- Price iPhone 14 Pro: $1099
- Price iPhone 14 Pro Max: $1199
This means that most iPhone models will be more expensive on it. Here are the prices of the current iPhone 13 models:
- Price iPhone 13 mini: $699
- Price iPhone 13: $799
- Price iPhone 13 Pro: $999
- Price iPhone 13 Pro Max: $1099
Why is Apple raising iPhone 14 prices?
The price of the standard model – next year the iPhone 14 – will therefore remain the same: $ 799. Rumor has it that the iPhone mini will disappear and a larger Max version will take its place, which, like the Pro Max, has a 6.7-inch screen. LeaksApplePro expects this device to cost $899.
As production costs increase and Apple wants more than $100 difference between the 14 Max and 14 Pro, the Cupertino-based company would like to increase the prices of its Pro iPhones. Both the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are believed to cost $100 more than the predecessor.
And what about the prices in euros?
If the information from LeaksApplePro is correct, these are probably the iPhone 14 prices in euros:
- Price iPhone 14: €909
- Price iPhone 14 Max: €1009
- Price iPhone 14 Pro: € 1259
- Price iPhone 14 Pro Max: € 1359
The fact that prices in Europe are higher is partly because they are calculated in the US without the sales tax. It also has to do with import duties.
We do not rule out the possibility that Apple will opt for a different pricing strategy. Since the iPhone X from 2017, the price of the (smallest) flagship has always been the same: 1159 euros. Apple may choose to give the iPhone 14 the price tag of the iPhone 13 mini: 809 euros. This was also the price of the iPhone 11 in 2019.
