‘iPhone 14 Pro (Max) gets larger camera island, becomes slightly thicker’
Leaked drawings show that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will have a larger camera island than their predecessors. That may indicate that Apple is further improving its cameras. The Pro Max model is also slightly thicker as a whole.

‘Larger camera island on iPhone 14 Pro (Max)’
We are getting more and more information about the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, which Apple will probably present in September. Yummy Max Weinbach shared schematic drawings that would show the exact dimensions of the smartphones.
The new devices hardly differ from their predecessors. However, the Pro Max model is 0.2 millimeters thicker. Interestingly, both iPhone 14 Pro variants will have a larger camera island. The bulge grows by about five percent in width and length. In addition, at 4.17 millimeters, the island protrudes about half a millimeter further from the housing than the one on the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max.
The changes are not earth-shattering, but it does indicate that Apple wants to provide better shots again. Earlier we read the rumor that the iPhone 14 Pro will get a 48 megapixel camera. Of course, if larger sensors are placed behind the lenses, more space is needed. One downside is that the new iPhones are likely to wobble even more when you put them on the table.
In addition to a larger camera island, the drawings also show the now infamous design of the iPhone 14 Pro (Max). The devices do not get a notch, but two holes in which Apple, among other things, processes the selfie camera and Face ID.
This is what we already know about the iPhone 14
Although it will take a while before Apple launches the new iPhones, we already have a good idea of the smartphones. For example, the iPhone 14 gets an even better battery life and the company puts more working memory in it than before.
The ‘regular’ iPhone 14 also seems to retain the current design with notch. The mini model with 5.4 inch screen disappears. Instead, Apple presents an iPhone 14 Max, which is the same size as the Pro Max at 6.7 inches.
