Trial production iPhone 14 Pro

This reports the Taiwanese Economic Times, which has short lines with Apple’s supply chain. The news site reports that Apple has started trial production of the iPhone 14 Pro (Max). This indicates that Apple has finalized the design of the new flagship.

The message also states that Foxconn will be the supplier of the more expensive iPhone 14 Pro models. The two cheaper models – the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max – are produced by Luxshare, another Apple supplier.

redesign

It is not yet known what the final iPhone 14 Pro design is. It is likely that the iPhone will look something like the concept below. Apple is rumored to want to get rid of the notch at the top of the screen. In its place are two recesses.

First of all, there is a camera hole in which Apple hides the selfie camera. In addition, there will be a pill-shaped recess in which Apple will house the parts for Face ID. Apple had hoped to place these components behind the screen earlier, but this does not seem technically feasible yet.

Four models

Apple is working on four new iPhone 14 models. First of all, there are again two basic versions, but there is no longer an iPhone mini with a 5.4-inch screen. It is rumored to be replaced by an iPhone 14 Max, which, like the iPhone 14 Pro Max, has a 6.7-inch screen. There is also a ‘normal’ iPhone 14. With a screen diagonal of 6.1 inches, this device is the same size as its predecessor.

The Pro iPhones are the same size as the standard models with screens of 6.1 and 6.7. The camera gets interesting. The iPhone 14 Pro (Max) is rumored to have a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera. The device is also capable of shooting 8K videos and there will be an improved ultra-wide angle lens.
