iPhone 14 Plus sales remain bad (but the 15 Plus is coming)

iPhone 14 Plus sales are disappointing
The iPhone 14 Plus is still not doing well. But according to recent rumors, that won’t stop Apple from releasing an iPhone 15 Plus this year. It is not yet known what exactly Apple will do to prevent disappointing sales with the iPhone 15 Plus. But several rumors say that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be cheaper.
Other rumors, on the other hand, say that Apple may choose to make the iPhone 15 Pro models more expensive. This then creates a greater difference between the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) and the iPhone 15 (Plus). Whether this will really lead to more sales for the iPhone 15 Plus remains to be seen.
iPhone 14 Pro (Max) sales are getting better
Unlike the iPhone 14 Plus, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are selling better and better. According to analyst Ross Young, 75 percent of Apple’s shipped display panels are for the iPhone 14 Pro models.
The number of display panels has also increased slightly with the iPhone 14. With the iPhone 14 Plus, the numbers have dropped to zero. According to Young, that could increase again in February, but then it would still be no more than 5 percent of the total number.
More rumors about the iPhone 15 Plus
The iPhone 15 Plus is expected to get a new design. According to the rumors, Dynamic Island is coming to the iPhone 15 (Plus)! We already found this in the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) in 2022 and it seems that it will also come to the iPhone 15 Plus in 2023.
According to the latest rumors, the iPhone 15 Plus will get the A16 Bionic chip. This is no stranger! Both the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max are already equipped with this chip.
Unfortunately, the screen remains the same. According to rumors, the iPhone 15 Plus will therefore not get ProMotion. With this, the always-on screen will also not appear on the 15 Plus.
