iPhone 14 is (Pro) is shockingly expensive: these are the prices

The iPhone 14 series is beautiful, but after seeing the prices, the euphoria has descended a bit. Both the cheaper iPhone 14 (Plus) and the more expensive iPhone 14 Pro (Max) are significantly more expensive than their predecessor. Below we list all iPhone 14 prices.

iPhone 14 prices

The iPhone 14 comes in four variants. First of all, there are two standard versions: the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus. They are the successors of the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini and 6.1-inch iPhone 13. Except for the screen size, the devices do not differ from each other.

Apple’s flagship products are the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. They have a better camera (48 megapixels), a more advanced screen (with always-on) and a more powerful chip (A16 Bionic).

Here are the iPhone 14 prices:

• iPhone 14: 1019 euros
• iPhone 14 Plus: 1169 euros
• iPhone 14 Pro: 1329 euros
• iPhone 14 Pro Max: 1479 euros

In comparison, these were the prices for the iPhone 13:

• iPhone 13 mini 809 euros
• iPhone 13: 909 euros
• iPhone 13 Pro: 1159 euros
• iPhone 13 Pro Max: 1259 euros

The cheapest model of the iPhone 13 series cost 809 euros: now you always pay more than 1000 euros. It is striking that the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have not dropped in price at Apple. So they still cost 809 and 909 euros.

The Pro models are also considerably more expensive. For the iPhone 14 Pro you pay 170 euros more than with its predecessor. It is the first time in years that Apple is increasing the price of its flagship. The 2017 iPhone X had a starting price of 1159 euros, and that remained so until the 2021 iPhone 13 Pro.

Pre-order: when can you order the iPhone 14?

In addition to the iPhone 14 prices, the date of the pre-order and release is also known:

• iPhone 14 pre-order: Friday 9 September
• iPhone 14 release: Friday September 16

The pre-order starts at 14:00 Dutch time. If you are on time, you will have the iPhone 14 at home a week later (Friday 16 September). From this day on, the brand new iPhones are also in the shops.
