‘iPhone 13’ name seen on packaging stickers
Every day the internet is buzzing with rumors about the new iPhone 13. Photos have now surfaced of stickers that Apple uses for the packaging of the iPhone. This clearly shows the name ‘iPhone 13’.

iPhone 13 stickers
The rumor comes from Twitter user DuanRui (@duanrui1205), who de shared photos. DuanRui also shared photos of the then unannounced iPhone 12 devices last year. These photos showed stickers with the correct names for the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
In addition to the iPhone 13 name, the stickers also bear the usual text ‘Designed by Apple in California’. The font used also seems to be correct, so it is expected that these are indeed the real stickers. You can also see this type of stickers in the packaging of the AirTag, for example.
iPhone 12S or iPhone 13
We had to wait and see what the final name of the new iPhone would be. There were rumors about the iPhone 12S and iPhone 2021, but it seems that Apple really ‘just’ opt for the iPhone 13.
Although the number 13 is sometimes skipped due to superstitions, Apple doesn’t seem to have a problem with the number. After all, the company also released iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 a few years ago.
