iPadOS 16 delayed due to Stage Manager issues
You will probably have to wait a little longer for the new version of the operating system for the iPad. According to Bloomberg, Apple is pushing back the release of iPadOS 16 due to Stage Manager issues.
The release will therefore not be in September, but probably sometime in October. This would mean that iPadOS 16 will be launched around the release of the new iPad models.

Stage Manager: New Feature in iPadOS 16
Apple has been developing Stage Manager for a while now. However, the new function has been discredited, because the function only works on an iPad with M1 chip. At the moment, that’s just the iPad Pro 2021 and the iPad Air 2022. According to Apple, Stage Manager doesn’t work properly on older iPads, so the company has disabled the feature on tablets without an M1 chip.

iPadOS 16 release
The first version iPadOS (13) appeared in September of 2019. Before that, iPad and iPhone both received the iOS operating system. Both releases (iOS and iPadOS) always came out around the same time. The fact that the iPadOS 16 release has now been delayed due to the issues with Stage Manager means that the release is not synchronous for the first time. Unless Apple decides to postpone iOS 16 as well…
