iPad 2022 will be released in September (and will have a new design)

iPad 2022: will be released in September anyway
Apple will soon not only release the iPhone 14, but the entry-level iPad will also receive a major update. According to the DigiTimes website, the iPad 2022 will be released in September. At least, if the current restrictions in China are no longer in effect.
Restrictions cause problems (not yet)
The iPad is mostly made in the Chinese province of Sichuan and there are currently some restrictions on the use of electricity. Power supply to industry has been interrupted in 19 cities and all production must be stopped until August 20.
If the restrictions are indeed lifted, the iPad 2022 will probably be released in September. Do they last a lot longer? Then there is a good chance that delays will arise and the September 2022 release date will pass the nose of the iPad 2022.
iPad 2022 gets a new design
There are already several rumors about the new design of the iPad 2022. The entry-level tablet will have a larger screen of 10.5 inches with thinner edges. Furthermore, the iPad 2022 has a USB-C connection and the camera on the back will protrude slightly. You also see that with other recent iPad models.
The home button seems to be disappearing, although there are also rumors that the iPad 2022 still has an ‘old-fashioned’ home button. Leaked images do show that the headphone jack has disappeared.
