iOS 16.5 beta: Siri can record iPhone screen

Apple today offered the beta of iOS 16.5, for the time being with developers. There aren’t many new things on the program. One of them is Siri and iPhone screen recording.

With iOS 16.5, it is possible to summon Siri and ask her to start a video recording of the iPhone screen. The assistant was already able to take a screenshot after the user request. Here it is about a video.

You can see the result below a demonstration video of 9to5Mac. The simple fact of making the request to Siri immediately triggers the recording, there is not a three-second delay as is the case when the recording is activated from the dedicated button in the control center.

Concerning the stop of the recording, it is enough once again to activate Siri then to ask him to stop the process. A notification appears at the top of the screen to show that the video has been successfully saved to the iPhone library.

As said earlier, Apple today offered the beta of iOS 16.5 to developers. Public testers should have it this week (tomorrow normally). We will have to wait a few more weeks before having the final version. Apple does not yet give a specific release date for public availability.
