iOS 16.2: some of the new features of the beta (sleep tracking widget, treatments, emergency call, etc.)

Apple delivered the first beta of iOS 16.2, and the latter of course brings its share of new features, including a Widget for the locked screen that will display data relating to the sleep tracking function. In detail, the Widget displays data for the last 7 nights, and in another format displays detailed data on its past night. Another addition with a treatment monitoring function widget via the Health app, which allows you to plan your medication intake (setting up alarms at a fixed time). Note that this widget is clearly visible in the source code of iOS 16.2, but that it is not yet activated in the interface.

iOS 16.2 also allows you to send a report to Apple when an emergency call is triggered by mistake. It is even possible to detail the circumstances of the error. The Home app also benefits from this beta, including this time full support for the new Matter standard. Finally (and we will leave it there for the new features of iOS 16.2) the new Beta would allow more frequent update management for Live Activities.
