iOS 15.5 beta 4 is the last before WWDC
In addition to a new beta for iPadOS, tvOS, macOS, and watchOS, Apple today released iOS 15.5 beta 4 especially for developers. Apple is mainly working on improving security, bugs and overall performance. Still, we also see a few new features and choices in this fourth beta. Are you reading along?
What’s new in iOS 15.5 beta 4
We see a number of minor adjustments in the test version. We mainly find these in the Wallet app. We have also been waiting for Apple Classical for a long time. The source code of this iOS 15.5 beta 4 shows that it won’t be long before this classical music service is showing off on our iPhones.
This iOS version is not yet available to everyone. We believe we know that Apple will release iOS 16 for your iPhone at the WWDC developer conference in early June. We already have some expectations for that software version. Just before that, the update to iOS 15.5 will probably be available.
Looking Back: Improved Photo App?
The app where you can view and organize all your snaps, Photos, is also subject to change. We see changes in the ‘Looking back’ in particular. These are the automatically generated slideshows of specific people or places. Your iPhone can remember these places via the geotagged which is attached to a photo. The person automatically recognizes the smartphone on the basis of algorithms.
The fourth test version of iOS 15.5 tells us that certain locations will not be included in this slideshow soon. These are just sensitive spots related to the Holocaust. No more locations have been added in this test release than those listed in the third beta of iOS 15.5.
