Intel: SSD division sold for nine billion US dollars
South Korean semiconductor manufacturer SK Hynix has announced that it has completed the first phase of acquisition of Intel’s SSD and NAND businesses.
For the first part of the takeover alone, which also includes Intel’s production facility in Dalian, China, SK Hynix is paying seven billion US dollars. Intel said in a press release.
