Instagram is testing a new way to edit profile photos
Service Instagram is constantly striving to improve the user experience of using its mobile application and thus brings various new features to it. According to the portal AndroidPolice is likely to bring a novelty soon that will significantly change the look of your profile page.
This feature allows you to move older posts to the forefront of your profile page
The news was published on the social network Twitter developer Alessandro Paluzzi, which uses reverse engineering to reveal hidden features in mobile applications. According to the screenshots published by him, Instagram plans to be able to edit the grid of posts in the user’s user profile.

Currently, posts in the profile are sorted chronologically by date added in three columns. There is virtually no other option at present. For example, if you add multiple posts in a row and you mistake their scheduled order, you usually have to delete and start over.
However, according to the published screenshots, the Edit Grid button in Profile Settings could be added soon. Pressing it should allow you to move posts in the profile grid at will. Then press Done to finish editing. This will allow you, for example, to prioritize posts you have made in the past.
The feature is currently under development, so you’ll be looking for it in vain. However, it is very likely that it will appear later in a stable version of the application.
