Instagram introduces Notes function: what can you do with it?

When you look in your Instagram message box, you will now come across a new feature. Instagram Notes. A striking new feature that puts photo sharing first. What can you do with these ‘Notes’?

A new feature has been added in Instagram that you can use from now on. It’s Instagram Notes, or Instagram Notes. A feature that allows you to leave notes for your friends, that’s the bottom line. The option can be found in the other private messages that you can exchange with other users, the so-called DM messages. At the top of the screen you see an overview with profile pictures of your friends. Those who shared a note are shown. You can immediately see what has been shared in terms of text. This can be a text of up to 60 characters.

Of course you can also make a note yourself, which you do by tapping your own profile picture in the same screen, with the plus sign. You can then compose a message yourself and share it with followers you also follow, or with a group of best friends. When you tap on someone’s note, you can leave a comment for them. This response will then be sent via a private message.

The note function in Instagram is a bit reminiscent of the Status update as we know it from WhatsApp. The rollout has started and is now available to every Instagram user.
