Instagram changes interface again: goodbye to Shopping tab

There are some adjustments to the interface of Instagram again. In the application, some users see a new layout of the controls. What exactly has changed?

New layout in Instagram

Applications such as Instagram regularly test changes around the use of their app. Recently, the Instagram Notes in the app became available. Now another change seems to be imminent, which has to do with the shortcuts and the menu options. The new version of the interface says goodbye to the ‘Shopping’ tab. This allowed you to quickly navigate to (sponsored) articles in Instagram.

This shop button has been replaced by a shortcut to a Reel, which you could previously find in the middle of the bar. Back is the plus button that allows you to share a new post for Instagram. Until now you always had to use this at the top of the screen, but it has now been brought back down. Something that is experienced as easier by many.

There is no way to force the update with the new controls in Instagram. It looks like Instagram is rolling out the new view to everyone.
