This weekend you can count the birds in the garden again during the annual garden bird count 2020. The use of a leaf is old-fashioned, you can count with the handy Garden Birds app.
Garden bird count 2021
On January 29, 30 and 31, 2021, or this weekend, you can participate in the garden bird count again. During the annual count you can count the birds in your garden for half an hour. You note the sightings of birds in the garden, so not just flying over, via the handy Garden Birds app.
It is the 17th time that the Garden Bird Count is held. The popularity and presence of birds in Dutch gardens are being looked at. Everything can pass, from the pigeon to the great tit and from the magpie to the robin, starling and of course the crow. You simply forward your count, along with any comments for your own archive. You can also keep track of the number of birds outside the official count.
Via the Garden Birds app you can also view additional information about various birds that occur in the Netherlands. Think of the chance of hitting, when it is present and you can also hear the sound of the bird, and there is video material.
