information about formats and 200MP camera known
At the beginning of this year there was the Galaxy S22 series, and we are slowly but surely moving towards the S23 models. Now we get more information about this.
News about Galaxy S23
Many are looking forward to the new high-end models from Samsung. We will see the new Galaxy S23 series at the beginning of next year, it is expected. However, the phone manufacturer is already in the news with the new models. It’s about the camera of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. According to the source Ice Universe, it is 100 percent sure that there is a 200 megapixel camera in the S23 Ultra.
For now, only the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, announced last week, is equipped with a 200 megapixel lens. That lens also comes from Samsung. The 200MP lens in the S23 Ultra will have an aperture of f/1.7 and the sensor will be slightly larger than the one in the iPhone 14 Pro, but smaller than other Android flagships in 2023. The design should be similar to that of the Galaxy S22 Ultra .
Dimensions
The same source also shares more information about the dimensions of the three smartphones from the S23 series. It seems that in terms of dimensions it is very similar to that of the S22 series. However, the S23 models will be a bit higher and wider.
If the information from Ice Universe is correct, a source that is more often correct, then Samsung will stick to the Full-HD+ resolution with the S23 and S23+. The Ultra will still get the 4K resolution, but it will not come to the other two models. The screen size will remain the same with the S23, as with the S22 series. The Samsung Galaxy S23 will have a 6.1-inch screen, the S23+ will have a 6.6-inch panel and the Ultra will have a 6.8-inch screen.
The colleagues from GSM Arena have shared the diagram below, where you can see exactly what the current dimensions are, and what will be with the S23 series.
