If you are looking for a new PC, but do not necessarily want to use an ugly desktop PC under or a non-ergonomic laptop on the desk, you could get a so-called all-in-one PC for a small price at Aldi in the coming week. The PC is hidden in the monitor and ensures a clean desk.

Aldi sells Medion Akoya All-in-One PC E27401 for 599 euros

More and more people are working in the home office, but they don’t want the desk to look like a classic office. This can be remedied by an all-in-one PC in which all of the computer’s hardware is hidden in the monitor. Simply switch on the screen and the PC is available. Aldi sells such a “secret” PC with the Medion Akoya All-in-One PC E27401 from August 26, 2021 for 599 euros via the Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord online shop.

Technically, the Medion computer is solidly equipped to be able to master all everyday tasks. An Intel Core i3 processor is installed, which is supported by 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Under Windows 10, the performance should be on the 27-inch display with full HD resolution voices. An upgrade to Windows 11 is available free of charge.

There are various connections available. Including an HDMI port, which allows you to connect a second monitor. WLAN for connecting to the Internet is built in just like Bluetooth. The webcam can be used for video calls. A physical slider ensures that you can cannot be observed secretly. Two speakers are still installed and Medion even includes a wireless keyboard and mouse with the all-in-one PC. This means that the desk remains cable-free. As usual, there is a three-year guarantee.

Alternatives to the all-in-one PC from Aldi

Admittedly, there are not many all-in-one PCs on the market. That is why the search for an alternative is not that easy. Medion belongs to Lenovo and they offer with the Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO an alternative for 649 euros (look at Amazon). However, it is currently a reduced price. Usually you have to pay 749 euros. The Lenovo PC has twice as much memory and a DVD drive. Otherwise the PCs are basically identical except for the optics.
