A lot can happen in 24 hours. We spend some hours at work, some we use to rest and sleep. But how many hours do we actually have for our free time?
Free time: This is how people spend their free time
Of course, recreational activities can be quite different. For an overview of how people around the world use their free time, the online platform visual capitalist started an analysis.
They examined the time that people spent, for example, watching TV, listening to the radio, meeting friends and other leisure activities. Another key question was how much time people basically have for leisure.
We show you the ten countries with the most time for hobbies and co. in our weekly ranking. Visual Capitalist counted the free minutes per day of people between the ages of 15 and 64.
10th place: New Zealand
Tenth place in the ranking goes to New Zealand. 301 minutes people there use it every day for their leisure activities. They spent most of their time watching TV and listening to the radio.
