In the new extension for Arma 3, we will head to the -apkrig desert
As part of the official Creator DLC program under the banner of Bohemia Interactive, thanks to independent developers Arma 3, it expanded in April 2019 with the expansion of Global Mobilization – Cold War Germany, this May with SOG Prairie Fire and in June with CSLA Iron Curtain. Now it’s time for another DLC directed by a talented community. Independent authors from the Rotators Collective group, who come from all over Europe, are tempted to expand the CDLC Western Sahara, which will take us to warm regions in the winter.
According to the developers, we can look forward to a new large map, weapons and equipment, playable factions, desert fauna and flora or original game modes. “At CDLC Western Sahara, players will take on the role of members of the private military (PMC) and will be sent to the desert battlefield,” lures Bohemia Interactive. We are also looking forward to new scenarios. One of them is Extraction set in an open world, which can be played in singles and in cooperation with up to four teammates.

“In this mission, you serve as the operator of the private military company ION Services and you are sent on a search and rescue mission after a war correspondent was captured somewhere in the fictional desert province of Sefrou-Ramal,” suggests what awaits us. We will search for information and clues, and our task is to get the abducted war correspondent back to safety.
Map of Sefrou-Ramal has an area of 100 km² and is a province in the northeast of the fictional region of Argan. Its characteristic features are endless sand dunes and Moroccan architecture. In this region, players will encounter UNA peacekeepers, the Sefrawi Freedom and Independence Army, the Tura rebel units, NATO desert forces and private ION Services troops. According to the authors, we are looking forward to weapons such as the IMIL GALAT and Velko R4 machine guns, the SLR rifle, the XMS assault bullpup rifle and the ZU-23 anti-aircraft cannon.
It will be released before the end of the year
We will also use an attack drone with modular weapon systems, a portable ballistic shield or various types of masks for survival in the desert. And besides, in DLC we come across a digital camera, camels or tents for refugees. The expansion will also offer a new multiplayer mode called King of the Dunes, a variation on King of the Hill. In Last Stand, players must defend against waves of enemies in cooperation for up to four. The team also promises two racing scenarios. “Challenge your acquaintances to battle against time through the sand dunes at the Vrana-Redstone Dune Rally.
According to Bohemia Interactive, the CDLC Western Sahara will be released by the end of the year and will sell for less than 7 euros. The exact date will be specified by the publisher. According to Bohemka, the developers from Rotators Collective have over 10 years of experience in creating mods for various games, including the well-rated mini-campaigns Callsign Minotaur and Dunes for Arma. Under the Creator DLC banner, more than 350,000 paid extensions have already been sold by skilled community creators.
