Improved model officially confirmed. What will it offer?
Recent speculation has finally been confirmed. Xiaomi is really preparing to launch an improved Redmi Note 8 model, which will be different from the original version by the year of production. The novelty will be called Redmi Note 8 2021. The XiaomiAdictos portal has addressed the topic.
The original Redmi Note 8 model is one of the best-selling pieces in the entire Redmi Note series. This is also directly confirmed by Xiaomi, which revealed that more than 25 million units were sold. It was in connection with the achievement of this milestone that an upcoming model with improved hardware was announced.
The Chinese technology giant wants to build on this popularity. He doesn’t even bother too much with the fact that Redmi Note 8 has already had two successors – Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 10. What exactly is going on for the improved eight is not yet revealed, but some basic information has already come into circulation.
Redmi Note 8 2021 in brief
The Redmi Note 8 2021 is intended to offer an LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a drop-shaped design cutout. Instead of the original Snapdragon 665 chipset, the Helio G85 Mediatek is to be equipped, which will be accompanied by 4 GB of operational memory and 128 GB of internal storage.
A battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh and support for 22.5 W charging is supposed to take care of enough energy. The presence of the MIUI superstructure in version 12.5 is a matter of course. So far, no information is missing about possible photo equipment, but several sources suggest that we should not expect any surprises in this regard. In other words, the sensors used will most likely be the same as in the original model.
