‘iMac 2021 gets thinner screen edges and flat back’

“The iMac redesign will be one of the biggest visual updates to an Apple product this year,” Bloomberg claims. Previous rumors already predicted the development of a 24-inch iMac, which will replace the 21.5-inch model. Bloomberg confirms this rumor and indicates that this model will indeed be ‘replaced’. According to the news website, it does not stop there, the 27-inch model is also being replaced.

The American Bloomberg reports that the new iMac has smaller bezels with a design that is very similar to the Pro Display XDR. So this indicates the disappearance of the so-called chin at the bottom and the curved design of the back.

‘Mac Pro 2021 will appear in two versions’

Bloomberg also predicts that Apple is also working on two new versions of the Mac Pro. One version keeps the same design as the current Mac Pro and the other halves in size. The design of the smaller Mac Pro is said to be a nod to the Power Mac G4 Cube, Bloomberg insiders reported.

Interestingly, the report states that the version with the unchanged design retains an Intel processor. On the other hand, the Mac Pro with a new design does get Apple Silicon.

MacBook Pro 2021 gets a new design

Earlier today, other interesting rumors from Bloomberg also appeared. The website, which usually shares reliable information about Apple products, reports that the MacBook Pro 2021 will include a new design. It doesn’t stop there. In the same report, the news source announces the return of MagSafe.

Reliable insider Ming-Chi Kuo shares the same rumors. If both Bloomberg as Kuo (via MacRumors) share the same news about an unannounced Apple product, you can assume that it is reliable.
