Illegal streaming: Beware, the end is near!
As soon as the Internet was launched, illegal file sharing very quickly came to an end. We think of Napster, Soulseek, Kazaa, Justin.tv and others who have shown the way. Since, whoever is smart enough to know where to look can find absolutely anything, be it music, movies, series and even streaming live channels. All of this of course means an incredible shortfall for the entertainment industry which could not find a solution to counter the problem until now. However, things could change quickly.
Streaming war!
According Torrent Freak, the solution could indeed come from Great Britain. Initially, when an institution requested a block on the territory, it could only do so for one in particular. Today, when a request is made, it concerns the offending site AND all its clones. Whatever the address extension, all are blocked without any verification of anything. For example, the galaxy of more than a hundred “123movies” satellites has been erased in one click in the United Kingdom for a year. As soon as a new address containing “123movies” or approaching it appears, it is banned without any form of preliminary trial.
This was put in place after a request from the Motion Picture Association which represents the largest American producers. The MPA has prepared and provided a list of 20,000 sites and 75,000 domain names present in 39 countries. Suffice to say that it will become complicated to slip through the cracks.
Soon the same thing in France?
