Swedish IKEA has added a new device to its smart home range. Where we could get acquainted with Trådfri before, it is now Dirigera’s turn. This new platform is coming to the Netherlands and Belgium and is available from this week. Dirigera can handle more products than Trådfri and also supports the Matter standard. This standard ensures better compatibility between different (IoT) devices in the home.
The Dirigera hub costs 59.95 euros and can be used in combination with the new IKEA Home Smart app. It has also been available for download since this month. IKEA will release an update in 2023, which will provide an option to operate products when they are not at home.
