IKEA and Sonos Introduce New SYMFONISK Table Lamp and Speaker
Sonos and IKEA team up again for a product. A new SYMFONISK table lamp that doubles as a WiFi speaker has been announced. The new Symfonisk will be for sale in IKEA stores from mid-November and from 159 euros.

IKEA and Sonos come with a new generation of the SYMFONISK: a table lamp and WiFi speaker in one. This time there are more options to personalize than with the first variant. The base and lampshade of the speaker are now available separately, so you can make different combinations. The base is available in white and black and the shade in textile and glass – both also in white and black.
The SYMFONISK is fully integrated into the Sonos ecosystem. This means that you can connect it to other Sonos speakers via the Sonos app, or you can also use it on its own. The speaker adapts its sound in every room. You can also connect the SYMFONISK to IKEA’s Home Smart app.

The lampshades of the SYMFONISK spread warm and diffused light. The new table lamp has a large fitting (E27) so that you can vary even more with the strength and colors of the light. As with the previous generation, the SYMFONISK comes without a microphone, so it can’t work as a smart speaker.
Prices and availability
The lamp base with WiFi speaker is for sale from 129 euros. You can then choose from the glass lampshade or a fabric one. They cost 30 and 20 euros respectively. The SYMFONISK will be available in IKEA stores and on the webshop from mid-November.
