Xiaomi smartphones are extremely popular and the software already reveals many details about the phones. But manufacturers often don’t want you to know everything about the condition of the device. There are secret codes like this one, with which you can still see the hidden information.

Xiaomi cell phone: Read battery status

If you own a Xiaomi cell phone or want to buy a used device, you are probably also wondering how good the battery is. You don’t necessarily have to install additional apps to find out, you can use a USSD code that you simply enter into the phone app. This is for the battery information on Xiaomi phones: *#*#6485#*#*.

I tried this on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ (test) and saw the following:

Interesting information is hidden behind the cryptic names. So you can MB_06 see how your battery is doing. Is there “Good‘, the battery is fine and you don’t have to worry. MB_00 shows the current state of charge. In this case 21 percent. With some Xiaomi smartphones, more information appears, but I couldn’t see it. With MF_02 the total charging cycles are displayed. MF_06 also shows the capacity of the battery when it was new.

For you, however, only MB_06 is important and if it is displayed for you, then MF_02. This is how you can find out about the battery of your Xiaomi smartphone.
