The owners of a Hyundai car can download a completely new Hyundai Bluelink app from the Play Store. This application has been given a new look and works much better.

Those who own a Hyundai car with a Bluelink system can now benefit from a significant update to the application. The app has been redesigned and the functionality has also been expanded. Instead of releasing an actual update, Hyundai has opted to release an entirely new app. This works alongside the old app, but after installing the new app, the old one can be removed from the phone. You can simply log in with the account; there is no need to add your car again.

The blue color has made way in the new Bluelink app for a clear white interface with blue accents. On the home screen you can immediately unlock or lock the doors, see the current weather at your location and get an overview of the vehicle status. These options can differ per car model, with electric cars you will see more options. With the map you can immediately quickly search for locations and send the destination to the car.

Calendar and fingerprint

Furthermore, you can now easily link your calendar, for example your Apple or Google calendar. This can then not only be shown in the app, but also in the car. With your own profile you can now also directly adjust your profile picture. Another improvement is the support for biometric authentication. With this option enabled you can log in to the Hyundai Bluelink app with your fingerprint or face scan.

Widgets
