If you want to treat yourself to a really big TV, you can get one from Aldi from Thursday. The discounter sells a 75-inch TV for 729 euros. Is this still a good offer? We looked at the details.

Aldi offers Monster TV Medion Life X17575 for 729 euros

Whether streaming, watching TV or playing games, the TV must be big enough. If 55 or 65 inches is no longer enough, you can get it at Aldi from October 27, a gigantic 75-inch television for 729 euros (look at Aldi). The sale takes place via the online shop, so that all customers of Aldi North and South can strike. Shipping costs are extra.

Technical characteristics of the Aldi TV:

  • 75-inch diagonal screen
  • 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels
  • HDR function
  • Image optimization through CTI, 3D comb filter and noise reduction
  • HD Triple Tuner (DVB-T2 HD, DVB-C, DVB-S2)
  • WLAN, LAN, 3x HDMI, 3x USB, VGA
  • Common Interface (CI+) slot
  • Stereo speakers with 8 watts each
  • Netflix app and media portal pre-installed
  • Energy efficiency class A (according to the old standard, now class G)
  • 3 year guarantee

That’s a lot of television for the price of only 729 euros. However, the TV has one small flaw. The LCD panel is not one of the brightest models on the market. But if you don’t put the Medion TV directly next to the window, that shouldn’t be a problem. Aldi granted as always 3 year guarantee.

For whom is the Aldi TV worthwhile?

The purchase is worthwhile for anyone who wants a television that is as large as possible and still affordable. A 75-inch TV for 729 euros is okay in terms of price. Of course you have to make small compromises here and there with the equipment. The panel is not the brightest and best on the market. Nevertheless, you get a solid television at an attractive price that cuts a fine figure in any living room and almost creates a cinema feeling. There is an alternative from Hisense on Amazon, but at 850 euros it is noticeably more expensive than the Medion TV (view at Amazon).
