Huawei P50 series is on the way and still comes with Kirin processor
Huawei is planning to ‘just’ release a new P-series. In addition, the smartphone will also be equipped with a Kirin chipset, while the Mate 40 was expected to be the last with a Kirin processor.
Huawei P50 is on the way
According to the South Korean source Elec The Huawei is engaged in the development of a new P-series. The device line will be named Huawei P50 and it is expected that this series will again consist of several devices.
From the information known so far, Huawei will propose the P50 series in the first half of 2021. That is good news for Huawei enthusiasts. It turns out that Huawei will not be stopped by the US sanctions for the time being. As we have seen already back at the developments of Huawei Mobile Services, as an alternative to Google Play services.
It is striking that, according to reports, the Huawei P50 series will receive a Kirin 9000 chipset. This is striking because it looked like the Mate 40 series would be the last series with a Kirin processor. The Kirin 9000 is one of the most powerful chipsets, so that’s absolutely fine.
For the display of the Huawei P50, Huawei would use the panels of Samsung and LG. Manufacturers regularly use each other’s products, for example we also see Sony camera sensors on many smartphones. Huawei is expected to work with Leica again for the cameras. As soon as there is more information, we will of course keep you informed.
