Portal GSMArena now informs about her new tablet Huawei MatePad T10 Kids Edition, which with its design and parameters aims at the smallest.

The design and software of the tablet are adapted for children

The fact that the tablet is intended for children is guessed by the customer according to its design. The tablet itself is placed in a colorful silicone cover to protect it from falling from children’s hands. In the lower part of the cover there is also a tilting stand, which will be used by children, for example, when watching videos.

There is also a 12-month subscription for children from the Azoomee service, which offers various educational puzzle games for the little ones. Picasso, in turn, allows you to develop your child’s artistic abilities. There is even a stylus for drawing in the body of the tablet, but it is only passive with a rubber tip.

The IPS display has a diagonal of 9.7 inches and a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The system is in the Android 10 version with the EMUI 10.1 extension and without Google applications. Of course, parents have control over what and how long children can do with the tablet in the system. The manufacturer has not confirmed whether the tablet will also receive an update to the new Harmony OS system.

The performance is taken care of by the Kirin 710A chipset with 2 GB of RAM. The internal memory of 16 GB or 32 GB can be expanded with microSD cards. The tablet has a pair of cameras – a rear camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels and a selfie camera with a resolution of 2 megapixels. There is also support for LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and a GPS receiver.

The battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh is charged via the USB-C connector today by slow charging with a power of 5 W. For safety, the tablet has a function of switching off during charging, so that it does not attract children when it is connected to the mains. The price of Huawei MatePad T 10 Kids Edition in Indonesia is 170 euros. Huawei has not yet confirmed the price and availability in other markets.
