Dragging images from Google Keep

Google announces on its blog that you can now easily drag and drop images from Google Keep to other apps. Do you want to try this? Then fire up Google Keep in split-screen mode together with another app. Did you put two apps above or next to each other? Then open the Keep note with an image, press and hold this image for a second until it ‘pops out’, then drop it into the Drop files here box.

We tested the drag and drop function in Gmail and WhatsApp and it works flawlessly there. It doesn’t work in Google Docs and Telegram. The other way around would also be possible, but that doesn’t work with Gmail. The feature is available in version 5.22.242.00.90 of Keep. It works on various tablets and phones in the editorial office.

Google Keep gets more features. The ability to enlarge, bold or underline texts is coming to the note-taking app. This is now only possible via a detour. Did you know that backgrounds can brighten up your notes? This is how you do that.

Can you already drag and drop images via Google Keep? Or do you use another app for your notes? Let us know in the comments.
