Honor X30i and X30 Max 5G introduced, are they eligible for success?

The independent Honor comes with new products in the form of the Honor X30 series. After disguising the Huawei Nova 9 for the Honor 50, this time the manufacturer pulled out with significantly cheaper, but definitely not entirely uninteresting smartphones. For example, the successful Mediatek Dimensity chipsets could score points. The Honor X30 Max 5G could then gain its fans with an unusually large display.

The Honor X30i 5G is a lower class smartphone with everything

We can start cheaper from a pair of new products, namely the Honor X30i. He uses it 6.73 ″ IPS displej with FullHD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The chipset should provide interesting performance to the smartphone MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G supplemented by 6 or 8 GB RAM. You will also have a choice of two sizes of internal storage, namely 128 or 256 GB. Everything is powered by batteries with capacity 4 000 mAh supplemented by 22.5W charging. However, the information about the photo equipment does not sound too interesting. In this case, it includes 48MPx primary sensor and two 2MPx sensors – one for macro shots and the other for better depth-of-field capture. The official images then clearly show the fingerprint reader located in the power button on the side of the device.

Honor X30 Max 5G is a real giant

In our opinion, the second named could be a bit more interesting from the pair of Honor X30i and X30 Max 5G smartphones. And especially thanks to the really large 7.09 ″ IPS displays with FullHD + resolution. The manufacturer does not mention what refresh rate the display uses, which in our opinion probably means that we will unfortunately have to settle for 60 Hz. The dimensions of the phone with a giant display are then 174.4 x 84.9 x 8.3 mm, while the weight has stabilized at 228 grams. As in the case of the Honor X30i 5G, we also find an integrated fingerprint reader in the power button.

It delivers power in this case MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G and 8/128 and 8 / 256GB variants should be available. The capacity battery is hidden inside the phone 5 000 mAh and again supporting 22.5W fast charging. But don’t expect a breathtaking photo set here either. On the back of the Honor X30 Max 5G you will find only the primary 64MPx camera and a 2MPx sensor to capture depth of field. However, for good, this figure can add at least loud stereo speakers, which the smaller of the two novelties lacks.

Price of Honor X30i and X30 Max 5G smartphones

Sales of both news start in China 11.11. and prices for the local market can be seen below. It is not yet known whether or when smartphones will look at us as well, but it is definitely not excluded. In that case, however, you must add at least VAT to the listed prices. The news will probably not offer a particularly flattering price / performance ratio. If something does not change, we can count on them for now Google services.
