In the Videoland Original ‘The world of Eva’, presenter Eva Jinek talks about Motherhood in 2022. She discusses intimate matters with experts, medical specialists and parents. Eva hopes to break through taboos and shame and to have an open conversation about motherhood in the Netherlands. Well done, Eve!

The series has three episodes. Each episode deals with a different theme: childbirth, the guilt of working parents and sexuality after childbirth. Eva not only tells her personal experiences, but she also speaks with others.

Eva indicates that she found it exciting to make such a personal series, but that all the stories also opened her eyes. “It is so important that we talk more often – and more honestly – about motherhood. Also about all the issues and difficulties that come with it. If I have learned two things, it is that no one is alone in this… even if it feels like sometimes it is. And that a lot of help is available, if you only know that you can and may ask for it.” She hopes this series contributes to the conversation about motherhood.
