Find all 20 Remnants of Ancient Magic

Before you can visit the locations of ancient magic, you must previously complete the 23rd main mission “Percival Rackham’s Trial”. Only after this quest will the remains of Ancient Magic appear on the map.

By collecting the traces of magic, you gradually master the corresponding ones Exploration challenges in the game menu and unlocks more capacity for your magic gauge as follows:

2 remains: 1st additional magic bar
8 remains: 2nd additional magic bar
20 remains: 3rd additional magic bar

If you want to complete Hogwarts Legacy 100% and also unlock all trophies and achievements, you have to find all locations of ancient magic. You must always interact with the corresponding magic source and then collect three orbs near the source to complete the activity. At the source, lines show you the direction in which the orbs can be found.

Tip: You can make this collection task a lot easier if you use your broom. This allows you to easily and quickly fly to many orbs, which are often hidden in higher locations. Also uses again and again Revelioto locate the outlines of the orbs more quickly.
