1 out, 1 in
At the Buitengoed nursery, the following applies: 1 out, 1 in. They replant a sapling for every sawn Christmas tree. That is why you will find the most beautiful Norway spruces and Nordmannen there again this year. You also want to go to this nursery in Bunnik for the Christmas shop and the many children’s activities.

Win win
We all secretly dream of sawing your own Christmas tree. If you do that in De Hoge Veluwe National Park, you are also helping nature. The pine trees grow here in a special landscape that closes and disappears if they remain in the park. So win-win!

Prefer digging?
That is of course also possible. With a wheelbarrow and shovel you go together at Landgoed Duivenvoorde in Voorschoten to look for a beautiful spruce to dig out. Nice and sustainable: after the holidays you can return the Christmas tree with root ball. Who knows, you might find the same tree again next year.

Felling in Kuinderbos
You may know them from the House of Representatives, or from one of the many living rooms where they are placed every year: Christmas trees from the Kuinderbos. The nice thing is: you can choose and cut your copy yourself in the forest. Of course together with the forest ranger, and at set times.
