here is which smartphone is the fastest
The iPhone 14s are often a reference in terms of power, but are they the fastest smartphones on the market? A video comes to prove that some Android smartphones can do much better in certain areas.
It’s been a few days now since Nothing launched its new smartphone, the Nothing Phone 2, and it convinced us a lot during our test. Although it is not equipped with the latest high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and has to make do with an underclocked Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1the smartphone does not flinch in any task, even the heaviest.
This therefore gave YouTuber PhoneBuff the idea of testing the power of the device by making it face the iPhone 14 Plus in a speed test. The goal is simple: open a series of applications on both smartphones as quickly as possiblebefore opening them a second time to see which smartphone has the best RAM management.

Who wins between the Nothing Phone 2 and the iPhone 14 Plus?
From the start of the test, we can see that the Nothing Phone (2) takes a slight lead in the first applications, before taking off when applying a filter to a photo. Despite a slightly faster export on the iPhone 14 Plus, Apple’s smartphone is not able to catch up on its competitor.
In total, the Nothing Phone (2) will have taken only 2 minutes and 1 second to open all the applications, while it will have taken 4 seconds more for the iPhone to complete the same task. In terms of RAM management, no smartphone had to relaunch an application in the second round. However, we know that the iPhone 14 Plus only uses 6 GB of RAM, compared to 12 GB of RAM on the Nothing Phone (2).
Is this victory really a surprise? Well not really. As a reminder, the iPhone 14 Plus is not the most powerful iPhone on the market, since it still uses the same A15 chip that was released with the iPhone 13. The A15 SoC and the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 are part of the same generationand we had already been able to see in other tests that the Qualcomm chip proved to be faster in many tasks. If it had faced the iPhone 14 Pro and its A17 chip, the Nothing Phone (2) would have had a much harder time winning.
