HBO Max now available in the Netherlands; a new streaming service

HBO Max in the Netherlands

After Netflix, Videoland, Viaplay, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+, it is now the turn of the next streaming service. As of today HBO Max is available in the Netherlands. This video platform bundles content from different networks on one platform. Think of Warner Bros, HBO, Cartoon Network and DC. This also includes own productions that are made. Well-known films and series that you can watch via HBO Max are Game of Thrones, Sex and the City, Friends, The Leftovers, Succession, The Hangover, The Sopranos, Dunkirk and Raised by Wolves.

If you choose HBO Max, there are two subscriptions you can choose from. Whatever you choose, if you take out a subscription before March 31, 2022, you will benefit from a 50 percent discount on the monthly price, forever, as long as you remain a member. With HBO Max Basic you pay 5.99 euros per month and you get the video quality in 720p HD. You can stream on up to one device at a time and downloads are limited to 5. The Standard plan gives you 1080p quality and 4K UHD with selected title. You can also stream on up to three devices at the same time and there is a maximum number of 30 downloads. The Standard subscription has a price of 7.99 euros per month.

HBO Max can be used on televisions from LG and Samsung, among others; but of course also as an app on your smartphone, tablet, computer, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox or other suitable device. There is also support for the Chromecast so that you can cast content from your smartphone to your television.
