Chores for a child in the kitchen
Okay, during the week it might not be that practical (because: busy), but on the weekend children can lend a hand in the kitchen. It is very educational, good for motor skills, contributes to their independence and with a bit of luck they will taste their food if they have made it themselves. But what chores can a kid do without ending up with burnt fingers or an apple pie on the kitchen floor? That is different for each child. And of course, safety comes first: be careful with knives, the stove, the oven and hot water.

1 to 3 years
– Peel or press fruit
