HandOfBlood destroys Gollum – and fans love it
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is already the disappointment of the year for many players. Bugs, weak graphics, boring gameplay – the German developer studio Daedelic Entertainment didn’t do themselves any favors with this game. Only thanks to the performance of HandOfBlood does it become bearable. In his short Let’s Play, he delivered a performance worthy of an Oscar.

HandOfBlood as Gollum: This Let’s Play creates excitement
A metascore of 34 points, 65 percent of the ratings on Steam are negative and just 3 out of 10 possible points in the GIGA test – The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is an absolute flop.
But that’s exactly what makes the game a treat for influencers. A number of YouTubers torment themselves through Gollum, record their ordeal and upload it to YouTube. Much to the delight of the numerous fans who enjoy it.
Also HandOfBlood peeked into Gollum. But in order to give the video its very own twist, the successful influencer slips himself during the recording session in the role of Gollum.
Dressed only in a loincloth, a pair of headphones and equipped with a matching mask, the poor man torments himself Smeagol Maximilian Knabe through the shallows of Gollum and almost never falls out of the role. Only a few bugs and absurd moments during the game ensure that HandOfBlood is himself again for a short time.
But enough talk. It’s best if you just take a look at the Oscar-ready portrayal of Gollum yourself. These almost 25 minutes offer the finest entertainment:
