Halo: in the midst of a studio crisis, Bonnie Ross leaves 343 Industries
It is an understatement to say that the development around Halo Infinite is a bit in the sauce: abandonment of the split-screen coop mode, postponement of season 3 to next year, there are plenty of reasons to despair even if the initial game displays a solid campaign mode, great shooting sensations and a fairly fun multiplayer mode. To make matters worse, the boss of 343 Industries, Bonnie Ross, announces her departure from the studio with immediate effect! Despite the difficult context, Rosse explains on Twitter that his departure is unfortunately above all linked to family medical causes.

“While I had hoped to stay on Halo until we release the winter update for Halo Infinite, I am letting you know that I will be leaving 343 and taking care of a family medical issue. I’m incredibly proud of the work everyone at 343 Industries has done with Halo Infinite, the Master Chief Collection, the Halo TV series, and so much more. It has been an honor to serve alongside this team for the past 15 years and to be part of a world that I love. Thank you to everyone in the Halo community for your support. The future of Halo is bright. »
So let’s hope that players, legitimately frustrated by the slow development of Halo Infinite’s DLCs and updates, will exercise restraint in the circumstances.
As a result of the departure of Bonnie RossPierre Hintze, who previously held the position of general producer at 343 Industries, is the studio’s new boss. he little game of musical chairs does not stop there since Bryan Koski takes the lead in studio licensing, and Elizabeth Van Wyck will lead the business and operations division.
