However, the fail0verflow group claims that it will not be easy for Sony to change these keys, not even with the help of a system update, which could really mean a rather unexpected disaster in 2021. And that’s something annoying is starting to happen, another hacker suggested – Andy Nguyen – who shared a post on twitter how he managed to launch a developer debug menu in the PS5 retail version. Whether the incidents are related or not is not entirely demonstrable, but in the hands of experienced people, even this shift could mean an important milestone and a change in current order. In them, console protection is considered to be almost unbreakable protection, especially with regard to constant checking of licenses of owned games, the ability to inject automatic updates into running and Internet-connected consoles and restrictions on the admissibility of a specific firmware version to run a given title.
