H₂OOS is the new name of the successor OnePlus’ OxygenOS’
Earlier, the message went around that OnePlus and Oppo will merge their skin. Not ColorOS or OxygenOS will be used as the name, but H₂OOS.
HOOS
There is news about the successor to OxygenOS. Earlier it became clear that the current OxygenOS will be given a new look, in which cooperation with Oppo is being done. Both companies belong to the same parent company. Oppo has gained more control and now OxygenOS and ColorOS are combined.
New information from a leaker shows that a new name will also be used. H₂OOS should be this name. This keeps the manufacturer in chemistry terms. H₂O is the chemical name for water here. In China it is still called HydrogenOS.
The clue to the name has turned up in the commercial register. Interesting detail; in 2015, this name was also submitted once, although it is possible that OnePlus is now seriously planning something with it.
